Ed Sheeran and his wife Cherry Seaborn have welcomed a second child. The Photograph singer made the announcement to fans on Instagram by saying they are now a "family of 4". The couple kept news of their pregnancy hidden and have now revealed they have a new baby girl.

The 31-year-old said that he is "over the moon" to have a second daughter. Ed uploaded a sweet picture of a tiny pair of gorgeous two knitted booties in what looks like a Moses basket to tell followers his happy news

He captioned the pic for his 38 million fans: "Want to let you all know we’ve had another beautiful baby girl. We are both so in love with her, and over the moon to be a family of 4 x"

Fans were delighted with the announcement, with thousands leaving messages of congratulations to the happy parents. Among those who commented, one wrote: "Congratulations!! Incredible news"
